best ISO mounter for windows 7 64 bit? ok so like... it doesn't seem like anyone's customized daemontools to be free yet... (or am i misinformed?) what do you guys use? |
Daemon Tools works fine for me in Windows 7 64-bit ... I'm just using the default installation, though (sans all the toolbars and other garbage they want to install w/ it, of course) |
Yeah daemon tools lite works fine, just bypass the warnings |
I've been using slysoft virtual clone drive. Works ok for me. |
using magic ISO and magic disc on 32 bit 7, works great |

If I mount ISOs, I just use Daemon Tools. I know Windows says it's incompatible, but shit still works perfectly. Otherwise, majority of the time I just extract the contents using WinRAR and run the setup that way. |
powerISO.... i hate how I need to reboot to install daemon tools |
virtualcd |
DaemonTools Lite. I used to have PowerISO for the burning but for mounting it seemed to be more of a pig. Since 7 has ISO burning built in there's no need for PowerISO |
Daemon Tools All the way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! |
I'm using 4.30.4.0027. Works fine with my install of Windows 7 x64. I know the version of Daemon Tools Lite that was out right around the time Windows 7 was RTM didn't like Windows 7 very much but it looks like they ironed out those issues. |
