IOC International Sponsorship 196,355,999
Domestic Sponsorship 756,815,478

They're blowing 1.7 Billion here to run the Games. It's not even our tax money. How is this a bad thing? Go out there and get your slice of that. No one's gonna hand it to you.

As much as I think the Olympics are a big unecessary waste of money, he's right. VanOC themselves aren't technically over budget. They use mostly sponsorship money for all thing things they do. The people who DID screw us over are City of Richmond and City of Vancouver with crap building planning/management for the venues.
