Tiger Woods was admitted to Health Central Hospital the day after Thanksgiving as an overdose.

Sources connected with the hospital tell TMZ the admissions chart lists "OD" and that he was having trouble breathing.

We're told the fifth floor of the hospital was put on lockdown when Tiger arrived. Tiger was admitted under an alias -- William Smith. His wife, Elin Nordegren was by his side.

As we first reported, Elin gave paramedics two pill bottles at the accident scene -- we now know the prescriptions were for Ambien
and Vicodin. Tiger was in and out of consciousness, snoring at the scene, and our sources say he clearly appeared to be under the influence of something -- not alcohol.

We're also told doctors used a breathing tube to assist his respiration.

We're also told hospital officials changed Tiger's alias after a few hours to another alias because they feared people would find out he was there.

Why anyone would want to get married these days is beyond my understanding, all it is is another business contract anyways, saying "I do" doesn't mean you love someone more or less just because you are married or not, if anything it just causes more problems.

What do Florida night spots and Tiger Wood's face have in common?

They're both places that Elin has gone clubbing!

The titillating news of Woods' "transgressions," which he admitted in a statement on his website last week, and subsequent reports of alleged mistresses, appear to be taking a toll on his lucrative endorsement deals. Companies and brands that use Woods seem to be backing away.

The last national commercial featuring Woods, one extolling the virtues of Gillette products, aired on Nov. 29, according to Nielsen Co., the market research firm. Since then, no commercials starring Woods have aired on any broadcast or cable network across the United States.

Moreover, a Tiger-branded drink made by Gatorade has been shelved. The company said the decision was made before Woods' controversy began on Nov. 27 when he hit a tree at his home.

It also looks as if the future awards and honours may not be coming the golfer's way. The Los Angeles Times is reporting that a bill recommending Woods for a Congressional Gold Medal -- the highest civilian honour awarded by Congress -- is being withdrawn.

The citation would have read: "In recognition of his service to the nation in promoting excellence and good sportsmanship, and in breaking barriers with grace and dignity by showing that golf is a sport for all people."

California Dem. Joe Baca, who had lobbied for the honour, stated yesterday that "in light of the recent developments surrounding Tiger Woods and his family," he is not pursuing the legislation.

This was published two days before Tiger's incident, and they couldn't pull it in time:

What makes you think he didn't. I'ts not surprising for a billionaire to have mistresses. I also wouldn't be surprised if the few women that came forward is only a fraction of Tiger's actual game.

Some of them are pretty damn hot, but others were nasty! With all his fame & fortune, you'd think he would have higher standards...

Tiger Woods is taking an indefinite leave from professional golf to work on saving his family, using the word "infidelity" for the first time in a statement posted on his website.

Woods says he is aware of the disappointment that "my infidelity" has caused to his wife and children.

He says he might not be able to repair the damage, but he wants to try.

He did not disclose Friday evening how long of a break he would take from the PGA Tour. He again asked for privacy, saying his family would need a "safe haven" to try to heal.

Harvey Specter 12-11-2009 03:28 PM

Woods is fucked. Most people would forgive and forget if he cheated on his wife with another woman, maybe 2 other women but the shit that's coming out everyday about how many women this guy was fucking, including escorts, the text messages and now stories about naked pictures and videos of him is just too fucked up for most people to forgive and forget. I seriously doubt his career will ever recover from this.

Great68 12-11-2009 03:29 PM

This whole Tiger Woods thing is fucking stupid. He should not have to apologize or explain himself to the general public.
