Still running strong? They lost another billion last quarter. Never really liked their cars. The corvette is amazing, but other than that they never really did it for me. I like cars from the 30's the best, and Ford had them beat, hands down. Nothing American produced from the 70's on has had an ounce of quality. I don't know if they are going to make it or not. Their new ads make me laugh: I don't see Honda comparing their cars to GM, but I see a whole lot of that the other way around. |
http://www.city-data.com/forum/attac...city-xvolt.jpg Looking forward to the volt :D Funny that so many fanbois mentioned toyota in the most great cars thread and so few gave credit to chevy/gm and you can't deny you didn't jizz in your pants when you saw sideswipe :) http://www.themotorreport.com.au/wp-...pe-concept.jpg I'll admit the brand has had some rough times, and you can't just praise the past, but the future looks bright for chevy and judging by the way their current cars stack up, they should be expecting to gain more market share in the next 5 years. EDIT: felt like adding some real POS's that chevy has made recently -crapaliers :P -the embarrassment that is the aveo shouldn't even be wearing the chevy bow tie -chevy venture >.< possibly the shittiest vans ever for passenger use -5th-7th gen monte carlos... because that much power shouldn't be run through a shitty FWD chassis... -I know it has a lot of fans but the 95 and up S10 pickup and the blazer... infamous reliability, tiny and uncomfortable -the GEO metros and other POS's that defined undesirable cars for over a decade XD |

It's just a matter of time til people realize that Honda and Toyota has been riding a reputation they built in the 80's and 90's. Nobody gets to the top without cutting corners. |
