I think its just a problem with your brows
set conn = CreateObject("ADODB.Connection")
conn.open "<connection string>"
sql = "<ahref=dbproof>"
on error resume next
conn.execute(sql)
if err.number <> 0 then
response.write(sql)
if conn.errors.count > 0 then
for each e in conn.errors
response.write e.description &
er. Maybe you should also try to flu

ilvtofu 11-28-2009 02:52 PM

lol ElBastardo that's exactly what I thought!

Interesting thing about RS I'm on a mac, and it doesn't work on Safari, however on Firefox it works perfectly fine. I'm completely hopeless when it comes to understanding computers though :(

!SG 11-28-2009 02:58 PM

that has more to do with skinnypupps hatred towards macs more than anything

We'll be moving to a new server early next year.

I've actually noticed the DB error page a few times, but it's only come up for a few seconds before I can reload back into the site. It's nothing too annoying, though, so I never brought it up.

SkinnyPupp 11-28-2009 08:02 PM

If you see a DB error page, the ethernet has to be reset. If it's down for a while, contact me or SG and we'll do it asap. For me, twitter would be the best way. Just send an @reply to me and I'll get it sooner than I would an email.
