You have paid for the proper disposal already. Just go to the service department and they will point out to you where to put the filter.

canadian tires?

shenmecar 11-30-2009 12:35 PM

Its perfectly fine to leave oil filters with canadian tire. Lots of people leave it there too!

godwin 11-30-2009 12:48 PM

It is fine to leave it at Canadian Tire WHEN THEY ARE OPEN!.. but don't be a dick and just leave it outside!

At some stores, they have a cart for used oil. Be observant, if you can't see it, just go in the service bay and ask.

They take oil willingly, just don't dump it at the doors and make your used shit a hazard for others.

And ruin the enviroment aswell as risk a huge FINE from the city if you're caught....this is not a good idea.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-10-2009 11:31 AM

i was only kidding

:D;)

you can leave it with CT only during open hours and yes its a crime to just leave oil/filter on the ground unattended because if the bottle has a hole and the oil leaks everywhere the city WILL nail you with a heafty fine or even jail time. just a heads up since i work for the city.
