Can someone ID this amp for me? Apparently its an old Phoenix Gold amp. I want to search its specs online but I haven't been able to find anything on it. http://members.shaw.ca/volvoman/inde...es/Car/amp.JPG |
That doesn't remind me of any of the Pheonix Gold amps that I've ever seen in my 21 years in this game. |
Coustic comes to mind for me, but not Phoenix Gold. Open it up, maybe there's something on the circuit board inside. |
Totally don't remind me of any phoenix gold amps I've ever seen. Looks like a Pioneer to me. I don't recall PG amp's ever advertising "MOSFET" on them before. Only seen Pioneers. *shrugs* |
OP, do you have pics of the end panels? That might help. |
First thing that came to mind is mid-late 90's Coustic. |

Tried to look around on www.realmofexcursion.com in their amp guts section to no avail. It actually looks like an old Sherwood amplifier. |

At 160 watts, what else do you want to know about it? Worth? Bridging ability? Impedence stability? To me it looks like it would run a set of front's just fine, but not much else. |
