I think these guys have stores inside most Walmarts.
I've been using 123Inkcartridges.ca for the last little while. They're fairly cheap and quality isn't too bad. (I suspect they sell the same generic cartridges as everyone else) The only complaint I've had with them (well, not just with them but the generic inks) is that the pigment based ink (the PGI-5BK in my case) seems to clog very easily compared to the OEM ones (Canon in my case)
In any case, it's still cheaper to toss the cartridge and get a new generic than to buy an OEM one.
One thing you might want to make sure is to check whether you use chipped cartridges. A non OEM replacement may not come with a chip. I know with the Canon's you can ignore/bypass the low ink warning, or (like I did) buy a chip resetter to reset the chip so it reports as full again.
