lacubrious1 12-08-2009 12:35 PM

Had to take any rogers posters that said most reliable network down the other day in the store i work at.

willystyle 12-08-2009 12:39 PM

My iPhone 3G has been dropping like crazy in places that never had problems before, since the Bellus network rolled out.

Mugen EvOlutioN 12-08-2009 01:07 PM

guess they should make new poster now

!Yaminashi 12-08-2009 01:23 PM

what does your rogers coverage have to do with what BELUS did to improve their network?

it has nothing to do with the coverage.. BELUS's 3g unstability has affected fido/rogers in some way... if they were launching a new cdma thing i'd say it doesn't affect others.. but when you are launching the same thing as others that have problems.. pretty sure it'll impact others as well

nice. blaming Rogers' network issue on other providers. Have you ever considered that Rogers' network may be having issues handling the increased traffic during the holiday season?

do you know anything about cellular networks to be speaking out of your ass like this?

have you ever thought about calling rogers and asking why? aside from the holiday season being busy, rogers could also be upgrading their network or maybe the bad weather is knocking their towers around. but hey...i guess its easier to speak like a dumbass

Tim Budong 12-08-2009 10:51 PM

The mobile networks are always evolving
so yea, towers are slowly transitioned to 3g.

at the same time, there has been an increase of data options being sold thus increase 3G traffic on the towers.
But Rogers stands by teir network and it will be resolved

as for bellus, their network is new..taht is all..its got barely any traffic where as Rogers stands by the fact that the network is tried, test and TRUE

Unfortunately, I'm experiencing Rogers' growing pains first-hand. Network reliability and reception has decreased significantly in West Van (Park Royal, specifically), and I'm getting dropped calls left, right and centre. Before, I had ridiculously awesome reception and stable, if albeit slow, data.

I've had the same problems.. even at home sometimes.. reception has been spiking lol

djalf 12-08-2009 11:16 PM

I haven't had any issues with calls dropping, but BBM sometimes goes a little crazy. data is a little slower from what I have noticed.

+Kardboard+ 12-08-2009 11:28 PM

Bellus probably put DISRUPTER RAYZZZZ on their new network equipment.

Curse you, you damn dirty scoundrels!

Tim Budong 12-08-2009 11:45 PM

the olympic gold is ruining FODGERS
haahaa

bcrdukes 12-09-2009 07:42 AM

:lol

I recently made my own Vodafone Canada and my SH9111i with penta-band 4G LTESPA has got my ass covered.

BBMme 12-09-2009 10:01 PM

I switched over to bell as well from rogers.......
even paid a $300 cancellation fee...... but it was worth it

+Kardboard+ 12-09-2009 10:31 PM

You serious? Bell should've offset that by offering you a cheap phone or a deal on your plan for that. At least that's what they offered me when I pretended to be interested after strolling into their shop to play with the Pre. :p
