TPMS on odyssey?

i just changed my snow tires and rims on last night, and the TPMS light went on. Just wondering is it a must to have it on Odyssey? since some tech from honda told me if the TPMS light went on for too long it'll affect the VSA?

If TPMS is a must, is there anywhere to get it for a cheaper price?

i notice that after putting the new TPMS on, it need to get the dealer to ues a special scan tool to trigger the sensor again, is it a one time cost or is it gonna cost me everytime i switch between the stock and the snow?

thank you so much for any affort

That was a myth as to it affecting the VSA.

If you took your car right now and punched it on wet ground, you'd feel your car getting traction with the TPMS light on.

If you took your car and turned off VSA and punched it on the wet ground, you'd feel your car just have a bunch of wheel spin, proving that the TPMS affecting VSA is a bunch of crap.

As for the TPMS question, its only a one time thing to trigger the sensor (for new sensors). After that you just drive and the light turns off.
