It depends on how you drive. 335's N54 is actually a 3L engine. I would say in daily driving it is probably the same. Quote:

Typically there are a few things in the packages I don't like eg heated steering / memory seats etc. Again BMW runs on a build in time model, so the best way is to take advantage of the feature, since you pay for it anyways. Quote:

Sounds like you need to test drive both and make your own decision LOL. I love both cars also. Price wise the G37 is a steal of a deal. Are you getting sedan or coupe versions? My pick for value and realiability is the G37! (I like the look too) |

Wouldn't the discounts be significantly less if you custom order your car as opposed to buying your car off the lot? Not left-overs from the previous year but current-year cars. |
I haven't order a 3er for a long time. My last 3er was in mid 90s when 3 series still have a $750 LSD option. In the BMW world, when you custom order ie BMW Individual, you are getting special colors etc. and trims that are not on the spec list. All orders in general, the customer specify what they want and BMW orders it. When car is on the lot, it is usually because the purchaser had bailed, or the dealer is going to use as a service vehicle / demo. The price is still roughly the same... Since you are paying $50k+ for a BMW, a few hundred bucks is not worth not getting the car that doesn't have everything you want. Quote:

i find the new Buick Lacrosse really hot http://www.egmcartech.com/wp-content..._image_004.jpg and the new Regal (2011) is nice too http://dailyderbi.com/wp-content/upl...uick-Regal.jpg buicks been pretty impressive with its new models |
between those two i would pick the 335 but if you had better taste you would get the S4! ;) joking |

Nothing wrong with heated wheel, I prefer not to have it. I also prefer not to have memory seat because pretty much I am the only one who drives my cars. Another reason for the BMW: If you don't get the NAV, you don't have a 7" LCD glaring at you in the dark reminding you, that you didn't pay for the "Technology package" to make the big ass, distracting, stupid screen more useful than just displaying, temp, track number and radio info. But the LCD can be use for video playin? I'm pretty sure the g37 has aux in like mine Infiniti. Why don't you like heated steering wheel? That is one thing I wish my Infiniti came with. It malfunctions alot or what? Van winter can get quite cold like today I got into the car got my ass and body all warm up but when I put my hands on the steering wheel it feels like I'm touching ice doesn't match what the rest of my body is feelin Posted via RS Mobile |

dude that shit cannot be compared with 335i and G37 not even close, try a Hyundai or sth |
oh no... crazy asian stuck upness alert comparing it with a Hyundai? oO WTF |
The majority of time I drive at night, I find with LCD distracting, especially when I am going at high speeds. I always preplan my trips. Honestly I turn off my M5's nav system. As for heated steering wheels. I don't have poor circulation. Quote:

lol ur right my hands are always cold totally my problem. can u not turn off the m5 screen? i imagine it won't suck to not be able to turn it off i like to have it off too for intimate moments |
Yeah... i know that 335 has an edge over g37 in terms of handling and performance. But reliability issue always come back and bite me. I wanted to buy out the 3 and keep it for a long time. Also, I rarely see any old bmws driving around. |
in that case get the G37 than, BMW parts are expensive as hell like all euro cars. Since you are planning to buy it out at the end meaning you will be out of warranty, G will be better buy |
BMW for daily driving / maintenance don't cost exceptionally more.. it is more like 5%- 10%. Out of warranty service is easier and cheaper than Infiniti, because there are tons of independent shops with the correct specialised equipment. An Infiniti exclusive shop is hard to find. Also Japanese manufacturers don't publish their repair data as comprehensively as the Germans like BMW do. Also the parts are designed last longer and don't have those timing belt bull shit like Japanese cars use. Unless you drive like a buffoon or track your car daily, BMW will last longer. Quote:
