I'd heard some rumors before, I guess they're true.

It's sad but this is why you must always be your pets advocate and make sure you are 100% comfortable with the person who is your best friends medical care professional.
It is not wrong to question procedures and their level of expertise of a procedure.

I had heard that Atlas was cheap and a bit shady. Glad I never went there.

I took my dog there once, cause my uncle said they were alright... Guess I was wrong, but thank gosh my dog is fine!

Yeah... I also took my dog there one time last year because it was like middle of the night and no other places were open... but the dude there didn't look very professional...

Never,I mean never take your pets to that shithole,I'm suprised they are still in business.

It's not always about the cheapest price,it's about giving the best care for your pet,Atlas is a prime example of "you get what you pay for".This pathetic excuse for a pet hospital has been on the news so many times and I know a few people that have had their animals misdiagnosed or fucked up by them,I still don't know why people still go to them.

If you were a pet,would you not want your owner to give you the best medical attention he/she can get you.

What the hell - article says he fucked up 2 procedures (resulting in death), among many others I bet. And now that he's been banned, he wants to appeal the BC Veterinary Medical Association's decision? He's lucky he's not going to jail for this. :flamemad:

This fucking guy,examined my friends neighbors dog,gave a wrong diagnosis and medication and now the dog is blind in one eye.

Can you imagine if he was a doctor practicing on humans!

He will still be in business,he will most likely work out of his home.

He'll spay or neuter your pet with a razor blade, and use horse anesthetic.

This whole procedure itself I feel is inhumane dogs should be trained to not be yappy just like our kids. Not cut open and cruelly modified.

Just a a couple months ago I had my dog there they treated him well and fixed him up good he needed almost 15 stiches to piece his head back together.

i have taken my dog there before, he did an adequate job. I find vets are like mechanics there are a lot of bad vets out there. I have gone through 4 vets so far and haven't been impressed by any. Maybe i am overprotective of my dog...who knows.

They are godsends to the cheap fucks that only care about how much they can save,not the welfare of their pets.

They are retards to the people that actually care about their animals and animals in general.

Good thing I did a search n came up with this thread, my dog was peeing blood n it was a Sunday n the hospital I use too go to is closed so me n my sister brought my dog to this place. The checkup seems ok but the price of the blood test n x ray surprise me a little, my dog was diagnosed suspected kidney stone in 1 ur n I thought it was a bit too fast to be true so I did a little search on Google n read the review on google map.
God I am never bringing my pets bak to that shithole anymore

that place looks like a shithole from the outside..not surprised the doc is a sketchy one.

I had a baby puppy sent there a few years back. HE fucken died!! Had to put him to sleep according to the doc at that shit hole ATLAS! Cause was severe gangreen (not sure if that is spelled right) Also, had one of my other dogs neutered there even b4 that puppy died. Should had seen the fucking red flags then. My dog came back from that place and was fucking severely scared for WEEKS!!! Being as it was my first dog, I thought hell DOH he just got neutered what else do u expect. Well, I got a third dog and had him neutered at this other vet (north road animal hospital) Guess what, that dog was Fucking jumping up and running around within A DAY!!! So that made me fucking wonder what THE FUCKING HELL THAT DID THAT SHIT HOLE ATLAS do to my first dog to make him scared as fuck for WEEKS!! god I'm so pissed I could burn his place down !!

took my dog there twice. first time when she was still a puppy to get spayed and her first shots. she's scared everytime we go near any vet now and she knows were at the vet even though were still outside in the car. but lucky she is still alive. second time i got her nails cut there and she came back smelling like shit. if i knew about this sooner i would have never gone there. i never really liked taking my dog to any vets as i dont trust any of them but i took her to get her rabies shot and booster recently, did some research on vets before i took her and decided to go to the veternarian on 49th and elliot in the plaza, they seem like an okay place, and my dog never left my sights, they gave her the shots in front of me.

how does does a person live with themselves knowing others put their trust in you to keep their beloved pets safe and healthy but instead u do almost the opposite. How does he sleep at night
