Damn, you mean they don't pay federal income taxes, provincial incomes taxes, corporate taxes, property taxes, excise taxes on gasoline, diesel, cigarettes, etc. or EI and CPP?

This was Calgary Saturday at 1 am at the airport. It was apparently -6 C and 55 kph winds.

My brother in law ended up getting stuck when he went out on Friday..
The funny thing with Calgary is tomorrow it could be like 15-20 degrees..
The other thing is the snow isnt wet like it is out here which makes it easier to drive in. Also with them not having as much moisture in the air even when its -10 it doesnt seem THAT cold. I would rather be in -10 out in Calgary over 0 out here.

Mr.HappySilp 12-06-2009 11:24 AM

LOL my sister works in Calgary and her car just got totalled on friday .........

I used to think that too but in places like Calgary, -10 usually comes with a 20kph wind.
