Hey douchebag, I'm not interested in you learning to control your car in the snow on the same roads that I drive on or my little sister might be walking down the sidewalk on.

How about manning up and learning to drive where the rest of us did - at the track. Want to learn how your car behaves in the dry? Wet? AUTOCROSS. Want to learn how it behaves in the snow? RALLYCROSS. Not only will you not get a ticket or kill somebody, but you might have some fun in a safe, competitive, environment.

Yo dawg, like the exotic man said. I drift around people, and last I heard when you fuck around on auto-x courses you get booted off. Track days are hella expensive, rally cross I honestly haven't done any research into.
And I guess you missed the deserted point. But you sound pretty perfect, I guess you drive absolutely by the book and have never gotten the tires loose, not even a chirp, on public roads. Am I right? hahaha

Me and a few friends went up to cypress around 11-12 at night and he decided to do donuts. They came in a pickup and chased us off. :haha:

I'm just gonna keep driving the speed limit and going around town as if I was taking my drivers test all over again

:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes: ok

I almost fell off my chair reading this part... thanks!! I needed that laugh.

How many of the people in this thread have EVER been to a track? Very very few.

True.

And if you're drifting you're regularly, and intentionally, exceeding the limit of grip -- there's no need to do this driving in the street. AutoX, RallyX - you'll want to drive at the limit of grip. sometimes you'll exceed it, but not to the point you would drifting.

$200 ish. How much is that ticket going to cost me, occifer!? By the way, nobody drives at the absolute limit at a track day unless they have money to burn.

Anyways - do what you like. If you check out something like a proper driving school or AutoX, you'll learn that drifting (running large slip angles) isn't exactly learning how your car handles in snow.... and if you're smart enough you won't come close to the handling limit in snow.

My reckless driving ticket was $138 if memory serves. And most of this thread I was referring to sliding around in snow. And yes you are right, we both know that. I have had the opportunity to do many track days, the three reasons I don't do them is because my car isn't "legal", I don't have the cash, or as has been the case lately i've been to busy with flight school.

Most of the people in this thread are right, I just like playing devils advocate:thumbsup:

Mitchell island .. completely dead after 6pm on weekdays, and almost completely dead sundays ... wide ass roads and few cars parked along the sides. Cops randomly patrol there but not frequently. Fun.
