anyone willing to do it?? =o) or can point me out to might be able to help me out.

Get the 20 bucks kit from Canadian tire (either 3M or Meguiars they are the same company). . get a cordless drill and go nuts.

Wet sand 1500-2000 grit and heavy cut polish if your lens is plastic. If glass your sol

If it's plastic, I usually wetsand with 1500 grit then down to 3000 grit, then use some Duragloss #681 Plastic Lens Polish. (Plast-X would work fine as well) and then use some 303 protectant and some hard wax like Collonite Double Coat to top it off and protect from the sun.

how does one determine if they are glass or plastic

um you touch it. plastic sounds different when you tap it compared to glass. all newer model cars should be plastic.

Glass is a lot stronger, it won't get hazy in the first place. It will crack.

You can buff glass, the problem is you need some really strong acid and it is definitely not something you want to do in your own backyard / garage.

thats kinda weak, its like a 2 hour job if you need to do both and your not going to find a shop that does it for anywhere near the 20 bucks it is for the kit

lol glass and plastic sound nothing alike when tapped with a finger.and if you really cant tell i would leave a project like tis to someone else.if u dont follow the steps exactly youl end up with a mess and need new ones.

glass bezels when you pick it up it feels like a fckin salad bowl, plastic is plastic...

this process is extremely simple even if you don't know the difference between plastic and glass, if you have a simple drill and can move your hand in a wax on/wax off karate kid style motion then you can do this

glass feels cooler to touch as well in general
glass may need glass polishing pads/some sort of glass sand paper
anyhow i just run my DA with foam pad with polish on plastic headlights and it works fine most of the time
