Unlocking cell phones

Hey, can anyone suggest some good stores for unlocking cell phones? I heard there are a couple in Crystal Mall? I know that JP cell is charging me $25 + tax but I don't really want to go to Richmond since its pretty far away for me... Also, how much does it usually cost?

I am trying to unlock a Telus E71 so I can use it for my Bell Sim card.

TIA

Debrand you can do yourself, very easy, but for unlocking I would go with JP. I would go to JP first for anything hardware-related.

Thanks for the input people! When I called them they said I didn't need to unbrand it.. I think unlock it is good enough? Is unbranding just like jailbreaking?

Unbranding means it removes all the logo/icons/junk embedded onto the phone by Rogers/Fido/Bell/Telus etc.

Im assuming you can do that yourself by plugging it into your computer.. and just installing and opening programs that automatically do it for you? :p

Nothing is automatic. Poke around. All the answers are here already if you wield the power of English comprehension.
