bullinger's german shepherd looking to get a pup. Anyone deal with her before. Are they puppy mill? i called her and she said i can meet the pup parent but can't see the puppy... (i wonder why). she said because they are too small. (about 2 weeks old) Is that a legitimate excuse? their website.. http://www.bullingershepherds.com/liters.htm p.s. The reason i concern is because i read some "internet bash" about this kennel has 22 liters of puppies (100+ pups) in 2005 according to the CKC registry?! |
I would ask how many litters the breeder has in a year. And get some names and numbers to call of other people who have gotten puppies. Also do a search on the internet of the breeders name and the kennel name. |
I use to work a a kennel that keeps fully protection train dogs and one of the best GSD there was from bullinger, he is fucking smart as hell and can switch between job mode and relax mode with the snap of a finger. Man I was in love with that dog, great personality killer looks and he can WORK, my ex boss told me with all the training that dog had and its experience bloodline and personality he is worth 80g easily. anyways that was few yrs ago though, things might have change or it could of been just a very lucky fluke by my ex boss. not letting you see the puppies seems like a legitimate excuse, when they are so small their immune system is very weak and having lot of outside human contact from all the potential buyers could be deadly. She is letting you see the parents so that a good side if you have any experience with dogs you should be able to tell whether the dogs were selected for breeding becuz of their personality and how they fit in to the CKC GSD spec. The rest like hereditary disease etc a good breeder should be able to back with lots of paper work and written guarantees. |
