Explosive pushups (clapping, or where your hands leave the floor) are definitely more effective than regular ones, IMO |

I agree kipping is hilarious. But in a way, kipping pullups are pretty much the opposite of a powerful push up. They basically use momentum, not power. It's even funnier when people claim that a kipping pull up is "harder" than a normal one :lol |

Kipping pull ups have their place. Great for athletes where hip drive is important. If you are a bodybuilder, not so much. Anyone one that dismisses them for what they are- is probably missing the point. Kettle ball swings are good as well. |
