I tried and that didn't work. XD this works better for me, even my girlfriend likes it. I think I can handle being thought of as gay by the few people who even know I wear BB cream. :)

i still think guys wearing make up is extremely feminine except for mosturizer, but i don't have pimples and my skin ain't fucked, so i'm not in the same shoes. at least he'll acknowledge it, better than people walking around with a murse in fucking denial.

Harvey Specter 12-29-2009 11:47 PM

I ordered some of this stuff but it hasn't arrived yet.

Cereal Killer 12-30-2009 05:06 PM

No, I don't use make up. The one and only thing I use that's remotely close to make up is Chapstick.

skyxx 12-30-2009 06:21 PM

Putting on make up is gay. Facial cleansing, no.

Neither have my ebay BB cream. I suspect postal service is still in christmas mode. I think i should ask my seller for a tracking number. After 2 weeks of waiting, I am getting anxious.

cctw 12-30-2009 10:30 PM

this is starting to spark my interested....anyone wanna try skin79?

yuusha 12-31-2009 12:54 AM

K, so far after using BRTC Perfect Recovery Balm for a few weeks, I actually had a breakout recently... not sure if it was from Christmas: stress, the indulging in unhealthy foods, staying up late and out all day and night, etc... or from using the product, but the first week or two of using it almost daily, I had no bad reactions... so it's rather inconclusive, with regards to clogging pores and harming your skin. I'm actually not using it at the moment to give my skin some time to recover so I could try again.

It definitely smoothes out your skin and makes it brighter when worn and really helps hide dark circles without looking like you're wearing anything at all. However, I haven't seen the long-term effects yet(whitening, healthier skin, etc). But that's only after roughly two weeks of use.

Other notes... It's a little hard to blend, so warm your hands before using, or blend with a bit of light moisturizer. You only need a tiny bead of it to cover your face. Use as little as possible, or else it'll be visible to others that you're wearing foundation :P Also, my girlfriend began to notice my more even skin tone and actually likes me wearing it... dunno if that's a plus or not.

TL: DR
-good coverage
-a little hard to blend
-no long-term effects after two weeks daily usage
-had a breakout at week two (Christmas time), results inconclusive

I can see using a cleanser but make up, no

Harvey Specter 01-07-2010 06:51 PM

Got this cream today. It does a great job of covering up, going to test it out and see if my skin breaks out. I did notice that if you put too much it makes your skin look white or pale so it's all about putting a very small amount. Overall it's not a bad product for the price.

CP.AR 01-07-2010 07:54 PM

Only when there's a special event (ie: formal dinner) where a bit would be used to cover my "Glasses marks" on my nosebridge, since I will most likely be wearing contacts.

But no - no crap on me skin

it`s still christmas mode, my phone case from november 25th still hasnt arrived yet, complete bullshit

Harvey Specter 01-07-2010 09:19 PM

It did take a long time but the delay was because of the holidays. A few other things I ordered before the xmas holidays have been arriving this week as well.

Just a follow up on the product, it really does do a great job of covering up and it also made my skin look brighter and smoother, if that makes sense. I would say this product is well worth the cheap price. The only thing I was worried about was breaking out because I have really sensitive skin but so far my skin hasn’t irritated so that’s a huge plus for people with sensitive skin. Thanks to the OP and all the people who mentioned this product.

SkinnyPupp 01-07-2010 09:27 PM

LOL you're wearing makeup.

Harvey Specter 01-07-2010 09:32 PM

Haha, it's only a tiny area. I'm not planning to put this stuff all over my face, it'll make me look a EI version of Michael Jackson.

Ulic Qel-Droma 01-08-2010 02:22 AM

I'd only ever wear makeup if i was going to be like in some photoshoot in some magazine or on tv, and i somehow have a zit on the tip of my nose or some shit.

otherwise... no. my skin is already flawless like the rest of me. well. almost. haha

Got my BRTC Gold Caviar BB cream yesterday. Putting on the BB cream and washing it off every day seems like a lot of work. Could easily use that time to do a better job cleansing my face.

As for effects - I do notice it being able to cover up uneven skin tones and such but not as well as I hoped. Maybe it's because I have severe acne scars on my face. I might post some before + after pics later in the week.

BB cream = moisturizer with the side effects of concealing, foundation, anti-wrinkling, sun block, whitening.

Harvey Specter 01-08-2010 10:52 PM

This stuff won't cover severe scars. I have a scar on my finger from a fight long time ago and I tested this stuff on it and it did a decent job of covering it up but you could still see it.
