they're trying to catch speeding vehicles. the bike rips it past them at 300km/h which is obviously speeding, so the coppers should " quickly hop into the car and they might get him ".

well if they are going excessively fast for even pigs to react, there is no purpose to pursue them cuz either it is too dangerous or they won't find the speeder from the other side of the rainbow
