Which one as a carry around?

After reading many reviews online and seeing the picture my buddy's G10 can make i just went and got myself the Canon G11 from FS for $514 after price matching. TBH I still think that its quite expensive but reasonable comparing to the US ($499 US on bestbuy.com). I have the nikon D70s as my main and I love the quality of picture it make consider its age but I want something with SLR functions but small enough that i can carry around and feel safer carrying around in shady areas G11 seems like a good choice.

I didn't pay much attention to the Canon S90 I know that it has the same sensor as G11 and it does slightly better in low light (f2.0 vs f2.8) but I was under the impression that S90 is alot more strip down than the G11 turns out its not that strip down

Having held both in my hand today while the G11 feel better and I love the swivel LCD I'm not sure if its worth extra 80-90$ and the g11 aint as pocketable as i first imagine.
so heres what i like about the g11:
swivel screen
raw
most lens accessories???
longer zoom
the macro!!!! (not sure if its the same on s90 but this is a very important feature to me)

what i like about the S90:
smaller size
the control ring on the lens seem more comfortable to use than g11's little dialpad
no hotshoe (i hate flash and only use it when i have too so I will most like never use the hotshoe on the g11)
PRICE

I brought the g11 anyways cause i'm not sure i can price match it for the same price later and fs have full price and refund protection till jan anyways.

any G10 g11 or s90 users wanna give me some opinion which one i should go for?

if you have software to correct that distortion in the s90, i think it's a better camera in many ways. they both shoot raw btw

^^ can you list some reason why u think s90 is better other than the ones i have listed? how much distortion is in the s90? why would s90 have any distortion if both g11 and s90 use the same sensor or am i misunderstanding(sorry still a noob)?

This will be the only P&S I will purchase for like 10yr any other photography equipment i buy will be for the dslr, having that in mind would it be better to go for the g11 since it is more versatile?

I also don't know the fact that s90 doesn't have a viewfinder will bother me later on. I enjoy using both the lcd and the viewfinder to take pics but LCD does have a downside in strong light

control wise which one is better and faster to use? i like the s90 control ring but to change difference thing like shutter apeture etc i still have to go in to menu to change the mode. I like the physical iso dials and ev dials on the g11 but i am no digging the flimsy and small dialpad. Does anybody have any real life experience? I don't have a memory card yet so cant really do any real testing with it not to mention the only hands on time i had with the s90 is in store.

Okay, here are some test shots with a production Canon S90 lent to me by the Canon rep this past weekend. As you can see, the barrel distortion is the RAW file is pretty bad. These files are all straight from the camera, nothing was done except resize.

I think it's an alright camera as far as the JPEG files go, but the distortion is horrible on the RAW.
