starter/alarm depends on the price. a two way would be nice if the price is right.
im fine with a 1 way if its got good range and cheap

I don't know much about their pricing, but from past experiences, you usually get what you pay for, the cheaper the job, usually, the crappier the work.

$400 sounds like a good deal. you should go back to that place. From what I've heard, top of the line compustar alarm/starters usually go for more than that alone, it's like they ate any labour costs just to get a customer. I know that a base model computstar is around $100?? plus install

xs cargo sells those 2 way alarms for $90.......but you'd be lucky to find anyone willing to install one of those.

Thumbs up for Soundsgood

I just got my Compustar alarm installed by the Soundsgood crew upon a friend's recommendation. (Had a smash & grab and now I'm paranoid, you know how it is)

Pricing is close to what you find out there in the flyers, but there's extra value and service that made it all worth while.

I have friends working in Future Shop and I could've get the alarm installed way cheap (cost + 10%?) - but then again, I wouldn't trust anyone working for a big box store. Those working environments can turn anyone into a sleezebag.

Looking at the big picture, in the end it's a difference of maybe $100, and that bought me a system that's properly hooked up (with a few extra goodies), warranty work that can be done at the shop instead of shipping whatever piece to US, and a shop that I can return to and find the same techs who worked on my ride. The time I save is worth way more than $100.

Definitely a thumbs up to Mike and Steve from Soundsgood Auto.
