| Where to get 3M Clear Bra installed (Vancouver)
Maybe this thread has been beaten to death, but the only results I could find from searching RS is Downtown Autospa which is apparently no more. And according to many of you they sucked pretty badly.
Thanks in advance guys.

I know they use another type of clear-bra but not 3M. The best bet would be somewhere in WA because the only 3M installer I know of in our area is Vancouver Clear Bra which is the same owners as Downtown Auto Spa. They did the ClearBra on the G35 and there are bubbles, hair underneath, and at some parts it's peeling off.

Tint Centre and Nmotion both use VentureShield (or the Canadian rebadged product). Read up on VS vs 3M, VS is supposed to be superior and offers a better warranty. Posted via RS Mobile |

Yes sir....depending on what colour your car is, you might have to redo the work every few years.

I wouldn't goto nMotion, did mine there, and I had to have it re done once, and even now it's not that great.
They were good about re-doing it, but I didn't want to bother getting it re-done a 3rd time.

Got my car done at TintCentre. Kristyn was more than helpful.
$200 taxes in for partial hood + partial fender, covered using VentureShield with a lifetime warranty. The only part that looked a bit off was the circular hole for the hood ornament (maybe it was cut by hand?) but the rest of it looked excellent. The work was VERY professional. No bubbles, dirt, or hairs.
I would recommend this place for anyone else looking to have this done. |

Now that it is a few years later, I'm curious how it has held up..
Thanks!

Really, anyone with a few years old clear bra want to chime in? Mine's been installed for a year so far (VentureShield with lifetime warranty, installed by tintcentre) that's holding up pretty well.
Autocross cone kind of dulled the sheen on one corner of the bumper, but other than that, sealed regularly and no issues so far. Very slightly yellowish, virtually unnoticeable, on a pure white car (probably due to the first few layers of wax, should've used zaino instead)
