well cars are meant to be driven, and to some ppl r8 v10s r only their winter beaters. as long as u dont drive like a dumb ass its ok. |
whatever, there's better ways to prove the car can drive on snow than risky street driving. Now this is a legit snow setup right here, didnt even know they made winter tires this size... http://www.6speedonline.com/forums/l...ave-lambo.html Dude said it outdrives his GMC truck in the snow, this is an SV Lambo minus the spoiler by the way ! http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...White/_035.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...White/_026.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...White/_032.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...White/_033.jpg http://i190.photobucket.com/albums/z...White/_034.jpg |
Those videos are all so friggin depressing... if I'm going to watch a car on snow it better at least be doing something cool! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5Fcj5wQgQQs |
Guys, hes in the north east. I doubt there is a whole lot of salt on the roads looking at what's plowing them. Cars are meant to be driven. Would I drive it in the snow?, no probably not but but I had millions of dollars perhaps. Go drive around Vancouver when it's snowing. Last year I saw tons of 911's in the snow (by tons I mean like 3 or 4). Big deal... |
It's all relative... if I had a lot of money, my MR2 would be a Lambo and it would also be driven all the time. It'd also be unwashed and unmaintained cuz I'm lazy that way. |

i love watching expensive car on snow ... |
Meh. If he wants to drive the car is the snow, whatever. Just don't be giving the middle finger to everyone while doing it. Personally, i'd have a SUV on the side. I'd hate to get unnecessary scratch/chips. I get enough of those in Richmond |
I give him props. :) |
wtf.. why is there snow on his valve cover?! |
^^ I think there are vents around the glass of the engine cover. It's possible blowing snow could have made it in there. Manufacturers have to test all cars in extreme conditions - I have no doubt the R8 and many other exotics had to pass cold weather testing so it's no big of a deal IMO. |
nice, looks fun |
Why not show it, quattro is capable in the snow. |

seriously... this is retarded i dont care what car you give me i could drive it like they did in those conditions!... im sure almost all of us could,I just drove my integra 400 km's today in twice as much snow as that with no harm done. the guys just looking for an excuess to show off his car, whoppity shit you drove an awd car down a street that had 3" of snow on it... i dont know maybe its a big deal in places that have sissy winters. heres proof of how much snow there is where i drive on a regular basis. http://i274.photobucket.com/albums/j...tachment-1.jpg |
