Coles notes: it's called Coles notes, not codes note.

ELITE_TRAYUNZE 12-30-2009 03:09 PM

orange7 12-30-2009 03:17 PM

Just skip to 7:20.

That is where they show a performance comparison on a track.

Best motoring gets a big fat fail.

Try again with tires of equal width and I'll be satisfied.

impactX 12-30-2009 11:23 PM

^ yeah... wtf, lol at the width difference.

i thought the same thing too,

then again i thought the 18's would have taken the cake.

snowball 12-31-2009 02:39 AM

skip to 11:10 for the findings

Zyzz 12-31-2009 05:26 AM

No kidding, what an absolute waste of time. This "comparison" has about as much value as 19" tires are good on track...

GabAlmighty 01-01-2010 07:02 PM

I don't think i would go above 18's personally. For financial and practicality reasons.

Rich Sandor 01-01-2010 07:05 PM

I'm more interested in the in-depth detail about the technical improvements in the construction of the newer tires and wheels. The road test is a waste of time and only affirms what everyone already knows.. wider tires offer more grip and bigger wheels give you a harsher ride.

!Aznboi128 01-01-2010 11:18 PM

tho it was faster with the 19 I'm sure a lot of people will never track with 19 inch tire/wheel combo

Toeknee 01-03-2010 12:32 AM

Was that a fair comparison? The 19" rims in rear had 1" more width than the 18", and has better offset :S
