FS/FT 1991 civic Si

1991 civic hatchback SI, 5 speed, 310,000 on body, about 80,000 on engine

$3800--->$3500--->$3200

engine:
-JDM ZC DOHC
-L3 ZC tranny, short geared
-built for boost
-flat top pistons shaved .030
-head shaved .040
-block bored .030
-oversized valves and fuel injectors
-3 way angle grind on the valve seats
-port and polished head
-cold air/short ram intake
-balanced and blueprinted engine
-short throw shifter
-centerforce Stage 1 racing clutch
-4 wheel disc brakes from crx Si
-4-2-1 header
-axleback flowmaster exhaust
-NGK spark plugs+Wires

Interior:
-clairion cd/aux/mp3 deck with alpine amp and 10" alpine sub in custom mounted sub box
-4 kenwood speakers with premier tweeters all around
-jdm steering wheel
-*Rare* Euroupean Civic SI center console
-CTR Shift knob, Red stitched suede boot
-Tripod On A-Pillar with oil pressure/water temp/volts gauges
-factory power sunroof
-seats/door panels/ dash in excellent condition, no rips at all

Exterior:
-2 tone black/ metallic orange paint job
-jdm black corners
-clear turn signals
-*Rare* honda EG optional rims painted black/metallic orange
-calipers painted metallic orange
-lowered with tokico blue shocks/struts
-Rear lower Sway Bar
-smoked Taillights
-Optilux 2020 Dual Beam Fog Lights
-rear Honda Emblem/rear windshield wiper /side markers shaved from the hatch
-custom front license plate holder

Within last 6 months:
-new taillights(smoked)
-new brake pads all around
-replaced fuel filter
-new air filter
-regular oil changes(synthetic only)
-new passenger side upper control arm
-Passed a full vehicle inspection(have the paperwork)

this car pulls really hard and runs good. it is turbo ready. only thing that is missing is the side trim for the exterior of the doors, there is a small amount of rust starting to bubble over the rear wheel welds as well, but not very much for how old this car is. i am asking $3200 OBO, im flexible on the price, no part outs unless i find a buyer who wants stuff removed. i am open to trades on other imports(hondas, acura, toyota, mazda) cars/projects. i just finished putting my other car together and i can only afford to have one car on the road so id like to sell soon and not have it sit to long.

different rims

custom sub box

sorry i just fail to see where the quality is in this car.... is it the metallic calipers?? or is it the low compression non turbo motor...?? to me that doesnt all add up if it was boosted than itd be a different story yah

the car isnt even clean.. the motor swap looks sloppy wiring taped up and hanging everywhere.. and id rather just toss that stereo box out honestly, sorry man it wont sell for 4000 but id give ya 1500

Every other post i see Sportcivic posting some snide ass comment about something that has no bearing on helping a seller/buyer with their original post. that aside, GLWS.

PS. You drive a civic too, idiot. I dont care what it has in it, and what you think things are worth. MARKET value places civics in the 1-2.7k range if they are in good condition, and well kept. Plus the parts and work he is added. by the way he is probably the only person that is selling for market value on this site. Just cause its got a turbo doesnt mean your getting your money back.

Sorry for hijacking your post man...

I drive a civic too so im an idiot?? wtf? He is selling a beat civic with a motor in it built for boost (which drops compression ratio making its drivability suffer) and it isnt boosted so it makes the car worth 4k?
Plus the parts and what work hes added? 2 tone paintjobs and kit painted calipers? anyone who buys this car has to either drive a gimp motor around, or put boost to it, which adds a LOT of time and LABOUR and parts so you will be into this car for over 6k easy. and its still a beat civic.
Lower your price its not worth 4000 regardless to what this nutjob wants to rant on about market values and his idea of what shit is worth.

PS: Akelley907
Before u go running your mouth at least know ur shit, Idiot
My post was helping the SELLER , its called motivation. dont put up shitty pics of a car and than overprice it and give no reason. . clean the car if u wanna price it high at least.

ok can we keep this thread clean ppl? it says OBO and i have said many times im negotiable on the price for serious buyers, 4k is a starting point, id let it go for much less to the right person. but obviously u think its a pile of trash? so maybe stop posting on my thread? its not like ur interested in buying. the car has been cleaned as i mentioned but i dont have a digital camera so i cant get any new pics

Just a thought, if you will sell it for much less, why advertise for much more than you will sell for? You might get more interest if your advertised price is closer to what you will sell it for.
