meh... it'd be nicer to get some actual numbers

still that price is insane, even after the reviews showcasing the high-quality materials and tech, the price still just seems far fetched

skyxx 01-05-2010 09:53 PM

^ it's not that far-fetched when they only produce 500 cars plus 10 years of R and D. It adds up.

0-9k rpm in 0.6 seconds? For a V10?

That's just god damn impressive for a road car.

I don't agree with the car being priced where it is, but I can understand why they decided to.

yea, that's why LFA has a digital tachometer, because analog tachs won't be able to keep up with engine's revving speed.

that's what top gear says

Timpo - The GT-R V-Spec will beat it.

Bullshit. If you knew anything about stepper motor drives you'd realize you can make a mechanical tach react that fast if you want to.

They probably used digital because it "looks cool", typical of so many Japanese "gadgets" they seem to like so much. Digital also goes with the "futuristic" looks of the car.

amazing car, and that rev is very impressive. But i think the price is a bit to steep for a lexus. I understand why they put it there with the limited numbers and the high priced materials but i still think its to much.

Timpo is in love with the LFA.

Impressive car, I'm sure it's a collector's item and real collectors will be happy to pay for it.

according to toyota thats is why they went with a digital tach so you cant really call bullshit on timpo more so bullshit on toyota if it isnt true

hell I love how the concept looked the production car... not soo much.

apprently tho toyota will still take a pretty big loss for every car they sell if you can believe that

Vale46Rossi 01-06-2010 01:35 PM

350keuro for that?

Bad on Toyota for using such marketing techniques that you would expect from the "crooked big 3".

Bad on Timpo for being a "blind" fanboy who soaks up and believes anything the Japanese manufacturers or media print.
