Ebay coilovers

Due to my Koni yellows not having perch settings I am forced to invest in some coilovers. Anyways I dont need anything fancy just something that does the job, and I dont care for ride quailty that much. Having said that does anyone have an insight on ebay coilovers? I understand some are 40$ and its holding your car up but is there much difference or are you paying for brand names?
it seems people who havent tried them wont trust them and ppl who have say they work fine, a guy a gearheads said there all the same. anybody else have experience with ebay coilovers?

Thanks

Check Ksports Kontrol Pro coilovers on ebay. They have pretty good price even with shipping charges

if you getting sleeves get Ground Control, it's a little more money but worth the investment.

Stay the hell away from ebay, did you not learn your lesson from your header expeirence? lol

I had cheap sleeves (OBX) on my old DA because I was young/stupid, and wanted the car on the ground. The ride is awful, and not worth it. Save your money.

Ground Control seems like the best option. Tons of guys are running these, and last I heard, they use an Eibach spring?? (Not 100% sure, can someone confirm?)

yup GC uses eibach springs so it's pretty good

Ebay springs are crap. Do a search for EBAY COILOVERSand you will find this out pretty easy. A $60 coilover is going to preform like a $60 coilover, which is LIKE CRAP.

could i buy the ebay coilover sleeve, toss the springs it comes with and use my h&r's on the sleeve instead?

I've had Ground Controls coilover sleeves (92 Integra)
Ordered and helped installed OBX coilover sleeves (90 Civic si)

IMO, if you want something cheap and the end result is a lowered car, any ebay setup will work. In the end, you are lowering your car so some comfort will be taken away.

Didn't have any troubles installing them, pretty straight forward, they are still on the cars today and are working fine.

If you want to go into details, don't even consider coilover sleeves. Just get the full set-up.

i got ground controls for 270$
