Steamworks is kinda blah. Not as fun and does not have a dance floor. It's strictly a bar/restaurant and the food isn't that great. It's not as much of a "fun" place compared to Lamplighter. Be prepared to sit amongst 65 year old retirees on vacation.

I've been there several times for lunch...
the service is pretty bad....the food is mediocre..the seating is not really comfy/relaxed

Was there for my b-day dinner a couple b-days ago and had food which is a only a bit better than the old spaghetti factory and I agree with the above post that service was poor. However the service in the West Van location is not bad.
