Steamworks whos been there? what are your thoughts. my final choices are between lamplighter and steamworks... * I promise i will stop asking for reviews - this is the last one!!! |
Steamworks is kinda blah. Not as fun and does not have a dance floor. It's strictly a bar/restaurant and the food isn't that great. It's not as much of a "fun" place compared to Lamplighter. Be prepared to sit amongst 65 year old retirees on vacation. |
I've been there several times for lunch... the service is pretty bad....the food is mediocre..the seating is not really comfy/relaxed |
Was there for my b-day dinner a couple b-days ago and had food which is a only a bit better than the old spaghetti factory and I agree with the above post that service was poor. However the service in the West Van location is not bad. |
The serve the largest pints (20 oz) in Vancouver, according to a study done by the Vancouver sun. I like their hefe. |
