FS: Pioneer AVIC F500BT

It's pretty much flawless and brand new. Comes with everything you need including the mount as well! Looking for $200.

Below are pics and specs. I could take pics of the actual product but I thought it's kinda pointless since it's mint, but if you really want, then let me know.

Pioneer AVIC F500BT

You've been holding out for something that links all of your devices together into one seamless experience. You love the idea of a system that can be operated by the sound of your voice. It's time to stop wishing for the next great thing because it's here. This is your life made easier.

Beyond the Ordinary.
A traditional portable navigation device lacks the extensive mapping commonly found with in-dash navigation systems. It also can be completely void of any entertainment value. The AVIC-F500BT brings the convenience of portable navigation together with the robust entertainment features found only in our in-dash units.

A New Class of Navigation
No more hassling with map discs. Now you don't have to worry about discs being misplaced, damaged, lost, or stolen because we've done away with them for the F-Series navigation line. We've taken the entire TeleAtlas Database that was previously on the two-DVD set, compressed it down, and stored it internally on flash memory.

Freedom of Speech
The AVIC-F500BT offers a new generation of voice recognition capability for controlling iPod* playback and making calls hands-free via connected Bluetooth-enabled cell phones. The technology accepts and recognizes conversational phrases and language, filters out superfluous sounds and phrases, and if the user doesn't give enough information in the command, the unit will ask additional questions to clarify the request.

In touch, hands-free
The AVIC-F500BT comes with built-in Bluetooth. Now you never need to miss a call, even if your tunes are cranked up or your phone is buried in your bag.

Subscribe to a Better Solution
The AVIC-F500BT comes equipped with a built-in MSNŽ Direct tuner. At a glance, see updated road conditions, search for movie times, find the best gas deals in your area, and get directions - all without leaving the car! See current conditions and the three-day forecast to better plan your day. The service is available through MSNŽ Direct data subscription service.

Simplified Menus and 3D Landmarks
Simplified menus and intuitive icons shorten the learning curve, allowing you to quickly and efficiently start using the system. Quickly enter destinations, browse music libraries, or adjust settings. Enhances your map with 3D Landmarks. Our advanced iPodŽ integration allows exclusive features like iPodŽ album art overlayed on the navigation display

Make It Personal
Personalize your drive. AVIC FEEDS freeware contains POI Creator, Driving Report, and Picture Editor Applications. You never know where the road will take you, but our POI Creator can help you get started on the right path.

Seeing Is Believing
The old WQVGA displays that most Navigation units use are 480 x 234 pixels. However, our WVGA display is much higher quality at 800 x 480 pixels. Images become sharper and more defined, just like our maps and menus on these units. The display's enhanced GUI (Graphic User Interface) has also advanced, making system control and management effortless.

Adding Another Set of Eyes
For safer parking, try using the ND-BC2 or ND-BC20PA backup cameras. The system automatically displays images shot from a connected camera as the vehicle shifts into reverse.

You might want to check your price.

Future Shop is selling this right now for $119.97 as a clearance product.

It is sold out online and most stores do not have this unit brand new in stock. However, I found one in Bridgeport on Friday and there was supposed to be one in the Langley store too.

http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/pro...31&catid=12038

Just a heads up.

Edited to respond to bottom post without bumping this thread...

I was prepared to purchase this from you for $180 but then I told you I couldn't because I found it at Future Shop. I spoke to you on Monday and you were ready to give me the unit for $160 which was a good deal but of course, I'd rather buy it from a store because I am not sure if my brother would like the unit. This way we can return it. I'm not sure what you're talking about with the whole calling you on the weekend thing because we haven't spoken since Monday

LOL why would anyone get angry at a SELLER for not being "active?" I don't understand that. You sent me a text message on Monday night saying YOU were upset with me and calling me a "flaker." Which is true, I did flake, but only because I found a better deal. Sorry man.

I'm sorry that I couldn't take this off your hands, I had to go with whatever is better for me, of course.

Best of luck! :)

^Yet you called me last night getting pissed off that I wasn't being active in selling it to you even though you found one on Friday? So I'm assuming you found one on Friday for heck of a deal, decided not to buy it, and was willing to pay me $180 as of last night? Regardless of which way I roll, I'm good to go man. If there's no buyer, then I'll simply keep it.

JiggaZed 01-19-2010 02:23 AM

lmao, flagella is a little bit mad imo

So you're selling for $160 now? I'll give you $140 then bro. What you say?

jitters 01-19-2010 09:59 AM

Does this have AM/FM capability? I like to get local traffic updates.

I suppose I got the wrong person. If that's the case, then it's my bad but what a coincidence to get two Jasons interested in my deck. But through this entire sale process, I never called anyone flaker so quit blatantly lying. I was pretty neutral in selling this unit as I mentioned before. If I don't sell it, I'll keep it.

JiggaZed, though I already sold the deck for $180 yesterday, I know a friend of mine who's selling the same unit as well. How about I talk to him and see if he might be interested in selling it to you for $120 given the condition that you swallow his.

parm104 01-19-2010 01:37 PM

So you're selling for $120 now? I'll give you $100 then bro. What you say?
