How to tell the diff between US and Canadian version of 2w9000fmr remotes?

ok,

my compustar pro alarm came with a 2way remote labeled "433" (no other markings were on it.) i assume this is the 433mhz international version rated 5000ft?

i picked up a spare brand new remote from a friend (it was the right price). the remote looks the same but it's labeled slightly different than mine. this one says 2w9000fmr. there's another "IC ID" field and the end of the numbers say "FM433". looks like the two remotes are both 433mhz 5000ft international models?

compustar does some things very well but documentation isn't one of them...

My older Compustar remote says 2W8000FMR(3000) bought from an RS sponsor.

i reprogrammed my remotes today...both are 433mhz despite the crappy labeling.
