Thanks for starting this thread, OP. Now I can ask a related question I have always wanted to ask on RS. How many people here wipe with their right hand?
I wish the poll feature was available. I ask because I have a feeling the majority of people use their right hand. It's a North American thing. Since there are so many non North American born people on RS, it woulld be a perfect opportunity to find out.
A friend of mine did this as a Science Fair project in school. The numbers were 95% right handed. 300+ people were polled.

There was one time I really needed to shit while I was snorkeling, so I just tread water as I shit in the ocean and didn't wipe.
When I'm in an actual washroom though I use a triple square.
