Bypassing Dvd deck

i have a panasonic vw 100 dvd deck, and it wont play movies at all, how do i bypass this?
and also

is there a navigation/bluetooth attachment?

See if the hand brake trigger wire is hooked up properly. If it is, the pull up on the hand brake and drive around with the brake on to watch dvd's while you drive.

Considering Panasonic dropped out of Car Audio in North America, you're going to have a hard time finding anything for it.

Bluetooth you can run a different brand.

Looks like you need the CY-BT200 to get the bluetooth to work for the handsfree phone option.

Don't know about navigation, but I think not.

Okay I don't mind not working while I drive but its not working period. And my e break is broken anyways

Maybe you should get that fixed first. You don't want your car to roll away when you are parked. After that is fixed, then come back here to ask for help if the deck is still not working properly.

If the deck was properly installed and your e break doesn't work, that might be why your screen doesn't work when the car is parked.

mmmm maybe try just grounding ur ebrake wire... thats what i did :P i can watch movies when ever i want on my panasonic deck..

ground it and POOF it will work!!!!
and e break when parking LOL funny shit that should never be done inthe winter.... especially our winters in sask LOL. gets too cold can be worse LOL

QFT, some of them need a module to be pluged in, which is simply some sort of a resistor that tricks the deck... some of the earlier models you just ground a wire and the deck gets fooled
