Apparently chop-stick related incidents are a new specialty.

This is old, but worth posting. Same reason why you shouldn't run around with a knife or fork in your mouth, yet tons of dumb people do it all the time.

not surprise probably all kids. when i was in elementary school in china one of my classmate somehow got a mechanical pencil stuck into his neck. In gr.1 there was a pharse where kids in school pride themselve in being able to stick various object into their noses and have it come out their mouth:p.
chopstick being a blunt object kid tend not to be so careful with it and the sometimes the parents wont even think a freak accident like what OP posted could happen. they probably wouldn't let a kid play with knife and forks cause it pointy a sharp but a chopstick is blunt and light what harm could it do
