| body kit question
ok so I just want an opinion about my kitd and stuff i got my eyes on:
It is from extreme dimensions:
Blits Front Bumper
$175.00
Spyder Side Skirts
$165.00
Buddy Rear Bumper
$175.00
Feelz Style Roof Wing
$249.00
Wind Splitter - 2 piece
application. $99.00
Product Cost $863.00
Shipping Cost $444.00
Total $1,307.00
The prices above r in american dollars, and there will be customs fees but I dont know them as of yet! Does this seem like a fair price?

the shipping is on par for bodykit pieces because the boxes they use are HUGE.
shipping is usually $100-150 a piece.
if you think thats expensive. think this, a tire, usually costs $20 bucks to ship. now a bumper box, how big do u think that is? how many tires occupy the same physical volume of space? and also consider, the bigger the box, the more they are going to charge u, its like an exponential cost of shipping and thats why it costs so much to get a bumper from the states.
also, everything from extreme dimensions is "style" which means blitz style, spyder style, which all means replica. the good thing is they use duraflex, which is a flexible fibreglass, which makes install fitment a bit better than just plain fibreglass bumpers. HOWEVER, the prep for them is higher as they dont come smooth, which means either a thin layer of bondo to smooth then sand, or a thick coat of primer to smooth then sand.

mmm, fuel'd by alcohol, and a meat body kit...
well, ive had mixed feelings about extreme dimension kits. but in general, they have been fairly good as for quality.
is the kit for the suzuki sx4? then your options are pretty limited.
