I am paying $90 for basic cable, chinese chaneel and high speed internet.........feel got ripped off for longggggggg time. Pmed you Corzo. |
Thanks to this thread, I just saved 20 bucks a month for a year from Bell. Gave them a call, didn't threaten them, I just said I'd like a break and mentioned this offer from Shaw. I didn't lose any of my subscriptions or anything. There was zero hesitation on their side. Thanks! |
First of all, I want to thanks corzo_cone for this thread. I just called Shaw today. At first, I told the lady from CSR that Telus has TV/Internet/Phone bundle and will you guys price match them. She told me that Telus force you to sign contract and will increase the price after 3 years. (Shaw increased the price 2-3 times a year without the contract :( ). And she told me she can transfer me to another department and I could talk to them. So I talked to another guy about it, he put me on hold for few min and give me this offer Shaw Digital Phone Basic: - Local phone service - Caller display Shaw internet: - High speed Internet Shaw digital and hd tv: - Classic & HD Plus - 1 HD PVR - Chinese Channel +$7 $84.95 + $7 + Tax = $99.95 per month I told him I need few days to think about it. What do you guys think?? Should I call again and ask for Xtreme Internet or 1 more HD PVR? |

I already have shaw high speed internet and basic digital cable. I called shaw today and they offer to transfer my home phone service from telus and give me a triple play bundle: 1) high speed extreme interent 1 yr 2) class cable channel 2-58 with free digital tuner ( non-HD) 1yr 3) home phone with caller ID 1yr All for 79.99$ Should I take this deal? He doesnt want to give me HD plus or HD box for free rental, which Corzo the op has mention above. Am I unlucky? and should I take this plan? (it is not a contract) |
