Help computer infected with heinous spyware

Ok so ill start by saying i wasnt on a porno site when this happend, I was getting guitar tabs.

Anyways, I was getting tabs then my anti-virus program said some virus was detected and Chose the option delete, it went away then 4 more warnings popped up i deleted them all. Then shit hit the fan, all my windows froze then closed, and all these things came up about renewing microsoft anti virus software ( i dont have that) so it did a scan with a program i didnt even have and it show all the threats etc, i chose delete all, then it took me to some page about paying 50 bucks.

Ok, then my desktop changed green and says"YOUR SYSTEM IS INFECTED- system has stopped due to a serious malfunction, spyware activity has been detected. it is recommended a spyware too is used to prevent data loss, do not use computer until spyware is removed ".
anyways i tried getting another free anitviruse thing to scan (avg) but it found two threats and didnt do anything.

What do I do?? help please thanks!!

I had the same one a while back. After doing some digging on Google, there's supposedly an HTML file that's called "desktop" that you can delete.

Otherwise, disable your Active Desktop.

I believe I encounter the same virus. It wants you to buy some antivirus software to remove the virus. I was unable to do anything with the computer without removing the hard drive and transferring to another computer. I scanned the hard drive with Avast and it fixed everything.

update to adobe acrobat 9. there is a security hole that lets the virus in on on ifected sites. you may notice acrobat starts up just before all hell breaks loose.

and malwarbytes will get rid of it. just boot into safe mode first.
