For those who cannot stop achievement hunting on your xbox360 |
Seems pretty accurate. |
Lol. Reminds me of the time I went to an EA focus group and they said they had the pleasure of working with some kid who has the most achievements in Canada. Apparently he gets an insane number of achievements per day. He also polishes off a 2 litre coke every few hours lol Posted via RS Mobile |
i'm in denial when i tell myself i don't have the time and bother wasting efforts to go trophy hunting |
They have some Herman Miller Aeron chairs... |
I haven't touched my 360 in months, thank god. It's even worse when you rent a game, and you know that you should to milk whatever achievements available before returning it. |
i dont get, whats the point of achievements/trophies? i never bothered with them on ANY of my games. i just play the game and get it over with. |
^ At the very least, achievements offer the ability to compare with friends and 'bragging rights' so to speak. They're mainly added into games to increase the replay value, as well as add an optional challenge to the game in the form of points. IMO, if they got rid of them, a lot of games wouldn't seem as satisfying. |
not that i use it to brag (causing braggning about video game achivements are silly), but it does add replay value to games you'lll play through once and never touch again. |

Somebody please tell me.... Its costed me over 150 hours of Left 4 Dead 2 to get 99% of the achievements. (Possibly over 200 hours) Just missing one simple achievement. The expert level just drained hours and hours and countless hours of my time. (Oh gawd COUNTLESS hours) How I look at it......For some reason it makes me play the game over and over and over until I get the achievements I want. IMO, creates better value to the game. The sense of accomplishment to know I can beat the game in Expert, oddly enough fuels my ego. Why do I care? I have no idea. Do I play for achievements? Yes. Yes.. achievements make no sense to me... Yet its there... and I have to get it. For some reason Trophies on my PS3 have less meaning to me. 360 Achievements. I go mental trying to get them. Should I care for achievements. I wish I didnt. |
What achievement did you miss? Oh, and I only WORK at achievements that give me stuff for my gamer profile (Med kit or shirts in L4D2 for example). I don't care about having everything done in a game though. |

Which should be easy to get, once that situation happens. |
i got absolutely worked by some kid on MW2 so i checked his profile. he had something stupid like 60k gamerscore. had like 100 games the majority of the games he played he had 1000 (or full acheivement points) for. it was crazy. |
bahaha i was bored so i googled high gamerscores and theres a forum specifically for guys with high acheivements. there was one thread with guys with 100k+ gamerscores talking about all the heat they get from it. the most common respones were "they are just jealous" "they say that i have no life or friends but gaming is my life and my friends are gamers too" "most of the time its people with 0-3000 GS from COD/Halo or sports games and they have no life because they just play the same game for months at a time." <-- fuck thats me "they say i probably live in my moms basement with no job. ya i still live at home but thats because i havent decided which college to goto but i do so have a job." "they say im fat and dont have a girlfriend. im not fat and i've had girlfriends in the past, they are just too much work" :lol |

Man thats crazy. That would require to play an average of over 80-100 games. Beginning to end with majority of the achievements. Thats just nuts. |
they should have some sort of exclusive unlockable content or codes to future beta for getting all the achivements/trophies in a game. |
haha good vid! |
