Question about reports

officer pulls you over, gets all your info (DL, Driving history, other records etc), then ends up giving you a warning.

i asked why all the info..? then he said hes going to have to write a report.

question is, if he submits the report, is it possible to get charged/ convicted later on...? and would the "warning" be sent to ICBC?

He's taking your info so that you'll be in the system. So if you get pulled over the same day or the same week for the same thing you did, the other officer will be able to see you were let off the hook previously and will conduct himself accordingly.

That's how I always viewed it. As for ICBC, I don't think they'll get it but I'm not certain.

ICBC would only get VT info if one was issued or a VI. They shouldn't be able to access Prime.
