Child seat anchors on 93 civic coupe. WHERE?
 

ok i need to strap my kid in safe, so where the hell is the anchor spot in the civic trunk? is there even one there?

Have no idea, but it is usually mentioned in the owners manual.

If you don't have a manual, online sites like College Hills Honda have parts illustrated.

Even if you cannot find the actual part, you may be able to find the part in a particular area.


Edit: Helms manuals are available at libraries, but I guess you wanted a quick answer. I'm sure someone will chime in with the info from their owners manual.

on the rear deck, between the rear speakers. there's 2 or 3 spots you can install the anchor. the holes are covered with a plug

if you need the anchor bolts if its the same as a 99 civic i might have one i can give you

i have thebolt however there are NO covers on the rear shelf. i know what you guys are describing, but the only thing up there is the key enty and speaker grilles. nothing else, which is why im stumped.

i doubt the bolt attaches to the underside of the rear deck

there should be threaded holes built into the deck. For whatever reason they may be covered. If you look up at the deck from inside the trunk, you should see them. I think the thread size is 8 x 1.25. Might have to poke a hole through the deck from below to expose the threaded holes
