Bird Crap on car???

For those that get bird shit on their cars, how do you clean it off?

Im talking about it being on both the windows and body panels of your car.
Would you guys hose it down with a pressure gun? Or is that bad for the paint of you car.
The easiest method I can think of is taking it through a car wash.

Reason I bring this up is because I am forced to park on the street and the electrical/telephone lines run on my side of the street. Basically, a shitty spot. If i dont move my car for a couple days straight it looks like the Blitz during WWII.

Anyone else stuck with a shitty spot?

Best way to get rid of bird poo on your car is to just get down and dirty and put some elbow grease in it man.

I tried taking my car through a car wash with bird poo on it; didn't turn out too well had to take it through 2 more times and after that you could still see a bit of bird poo left.( This was at the easywash in northvan.)

If you get bird crap. Wash it as soon as possible. better if it's fresh. Or buy a car cover.

other than the brutal sentence fragments, this is correct. get it while it's fresh and hasn't bonded to your paint. the longer you wait, the higher the chance it will leave a scratch/residue spot when you remove it.

I personally would just use water and wash/wipe it off with a towel.

But with all the constant pissing rain that's been going on, I don't
see how bird crap even stays on your car...

Thanks everyone.

It's easier said than done.

Didn't use my car or the front door for 3 days and because of the wonderful weather the last 2 days or so, the bird crap had dried. I was thinking either taking it to that touchless car wash place near clark/homedepot or else going to town with a pressure gun.

bird crap, wash it off as soon as possible.
if not, i just bought the Bug and Tar remover at Cdn tire for $6.99, works great when the crap is dried and hard.. just spray on it and let it soak in. it sprays out as foam. then rinse off with water, or wipe it down with a towel, no hard scrubbing required as it could scratch your paint

the black/green bottle

put hot water in a water bottle, pour it on and wipe once with a paper towel. Should come off instantly.

Have it waxed. Whenever there's bird crap on my car, a simple wet paper towel can wipe it right off.

Like everyone said, get it while its fresh.
Don't "put elbow grease into it", you wanna be gentle with it or you'll scratch your car.

soak the bird crap and moisten it before attempting to remove it. Otherwise it'll scratch like crazy
