When I first saw this thread, I thought it read, Bible versus US Army, LOL. Almost as bad as seeing Where to buy Broken Sword in the other thread. Need eyes checked........ can spot a hot chick from 100 miles away, but can't read worth shit. |

thats it! we'll fight terrorism with terrorism ! |
if i'm in a war and people are trying to kill me, i wouldn't give a sh*t what is written on the scope as long as it worked! |

This company can do whatever they want. They could put outlines of daffy duck if they wanted too.. The question is.. WHY DID THE MILITARY BUY FROM THEM IN THE FIRST PLACE? The company can make whatever they want.. granted, i think the news lady had a point about the whole putting their solders lives at risk by using this to recruit more people... but, that doesn't change the fact the company is entitled to do what they want. I just wish the US/CAD/other allies can pull out soon. My friends brother was KIA.. and it's really sad to see someone so young die in a place he shouldn't have been in the first place.. I hate the fact that our brothers/sisters are dying in what i think is in vain =/ |
^ they bought from them because this company makes some of the best scopes in the world to get the same scope mounted on most military M4's a civilian pays like $1350 my dad just bought a chinese replica for like $300 for his, it's pretty nice regardless but the top of the line ones are insane |

You're not alone..I too thought the same thing, except for the Broken Sword thread part. |

OT, but wasn't there a movie about a sniper in which, when he killed, he started mumbling verses from the bible or something rather? |

WHO THE FUCK CARES. IT HAS NO EFFECT ON THE FUNCTIONALITY OF THE WEAPON SYSTEM WHATSOEVER. |
i bet 99% of you guys never even touched a REAL gun in your life. btw this is a slap in the face for most Christians. I always liked Trijicon stuff, now i will buy more of them to support the company. |

i think he says a prayer when hes like aiming looking for his target or something |
w0w this is stupid. |
Trijicon can do as they wish, and i say more power to them for not just backing out of this idea ... and if the US wants significantly worse scopes of that type for their soldiers to use just to keep people here happy then so be it ... i dont really see the issue here |

========================== where's that quote when you need it? something about never being afraid of jeus |
btw In N Out does the same thing and i don't see people complaining about them. |

Anyways I think some of you guys are missing the main point here... Of course the weapon is going to do what it was designed to do. It`s a machine.. a piece of technology... but what those inscriptions represent is an age old hate... Yes I hate fox news.. But I can understand where this reporter is coming from. |
Trijicon is not to be blamed in this matter, IMO. It's the US armys fault for not reviewing the design properly, I'm sure Trijicon sent out design options and descriptions for approval. They should blame the one responsible for reviewing and approving the design of the product. |

..... Uh look... its not about the functionality ... its the messege it sends to the people they're fighting with and against. Now the fagtards who wear bombs in their durkas can say "see, Mr.Moderate Iraqi who sided with the americans, they're trying to convert you" and thus having more douchebags blow them selves up, killing more of our troops .. "who cares" The damn people using these weapons do. Try explaining to people you're not trying to convert them when you're handing them guns with bible verses on them. Did I REALLY need to explain this? COME ON!!! |
