Costco or CT

I think Home Depot has higher quality BBQ set up if thats what you looking for.

Are you preparing for the summer already ? :D You should be doing hot pot right now

they sell ok BBQ but not something that I would want the BBQ with, yes Johnstone BBQ is a great place as well Reliable parts. I would stick with a Weber or Vermont castings they are great Q's and they are worth the money.

Weber +1

Are you looking for quality?

If so, you are limited to a few places.

The high quality ones are not negotiable, price wise. Your biggest struggle will be with which brand to go with not where to get it.

Cheap BBQ's, on the other hand, are a dime a dozen and all break down and rust out within a couple of years.

BTW, I love BBQ's in winter.

Weber FTMFW. Bought a big charcoal one with ash-catcher from Johnstones, and it rawks.

I have the big green Egg, for slow cooking and smoking it works awesome. I have cooked a roast for 12 hrs once on it and it melted like butter in my mouth.

Yep. I decided on a Weber, too. Not the very best out there, but really reliable and well built for the money. You get what you pay for.

Actually, Weber does make smaller ones at a reasonable price. If I were hard up for cash, I would rather get a small Weber than a large run-of-the-mill BBQ.

One place I found, after I bought the Weber last summer, is Reliable Parts in Coquitlam. Prices were OK.

BTW, I got my Weber from old friends at Harvey's on Kingsway.

Weber Q320 owner here, bought it from Home Depot. WORTH EVERY PENNY. The build quality, the cooking time, the grill marks is second to none.

Hondaracer 01-20-2010 07:02 PM

werd, it's sooo worth spending 400-500 on a weber rather than $150 on some shit BBQ that doesnt even grill evenly, you'll most likely go through a burner or 2 within the year

our weber is about 3-4 years old now and this past summer i painted the outside with engine enamel, looks like the brand new models lol
