After market indash Navigation for 09 Civic Hi Boys and Girls This is my first day and first post on Revscene. So excited to browse around this informative community. :haha: Just bought a 2009 Civic sedan, and looking for an after market indash Navigation system, any recommendation? :) Thanks |
give a call to either soundworks or sounds good both sponsors of revscene and they do good work. OrgasmDonor (a vetern here and works at soundsgood) would give you some good advise as well there's a car audio section :p as for aftermarket navi, I say for price/funtion kenwood. They use garmin navi and it's awesome |
Hit up the Audio/Video section, and they'll help you out.. http://www.revscene.net/forums/gener...audio-f10.html |
+1 for kenwood |
Kenwood, Pioneer, Charion and the new Eclipse etc. All great in one navi systems. |
what about this one? best match with console, and plug and play http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f7-toBf0-Sw |
looks like factory installed option in the states.. |
they are actually an after market one. you can find all detail from there http://www.flyaudio.us |
I read some reviews on club lexus and v6p for the fly audio system, it's pretty good in terms of matching the factory on the lexus is250, but on the accord it looks bad. What I can tell you tho is the quailty from thos units are far from oem and it won't feel oem. While it is a good price comparing to oem , the sound quailty from a kenwood or alpine or eveb pioneer would be mmuch better Posted via RS Mobile |

Just get a double din dashkit and a reputable aftermarket in-dash Navi such as Kenwood or Pioneer. Do not get the Fly Audio ones. They may look OEM finish but its quality is on par with Made In China. |
if it's not made in China than it's probabley fake |
Thank you guys for the kindly advice, i will definately look at the kenwood one, but my only concern is the customization work for dash console may cost a fortune. I also read some Flyaudio's youtube review, sounds like it is a pretty cool alternative solution. do you guy know any local reseller which has an in-store demo unit? :D |
2din kit for civic is cheap |

Hi Guys just came back from Visions with a quote for a pioneer AVIC-X910BT for $1500, tax-in with installation and dash-kit, but no rearview camera is included. I have also looked at the flyaudio in person today, you guys cant believe how good the quality is, it looks exactly OEM and clean. Unit is under $1K with camera. According to the store's guy said, installation is pretty simple and it could be done by myself. it supports ipod, BT, video playback, USB, steering wheel control and 3rd party vendors navigation softwares. I am struggling on which unit i should pick, Flyaudio has the cleanest look, but pioneer is a brand name, Flyaudio is a big brand in Asia too.......... please help guys :D |
