How to use Cineplex Admit One ordering online?

Hi guys,

I tried googling it and can't seem to find the answer

is it possbile to use the admit one coupons when ordering tickets online?
i am trying to buy avatar tickets before it's all sold out at the theatres. thanks

^ You can't use coupons online. Only options are Scene card points and credit card. I use Scene card points for avatar IMAX. They were 1000 points each ticket. The avatar IMAX tickets are always sold out by late Wednesday/early Thursdays.

not really interested in IMAX, it gets dizzy

yea, i ended up redeeming 1000 scene points and buying a gen admission for $15

Are scene cards useful? Never bothered signing up for one

^ It's free, and every time you watch a movie you get 100 points per purchase. What I do when i go out with friends or a date is that I purchase the tickets separately so you can swipe it twice. I believe the maximum swipes you can do in a day are two. I watch a lot of movies throughout the year so it does become very beneficial. If you really want to save more at the theatres, buy a stack/packet of movie tickets. I think they are around 6-8 bucks per a ticket if you buy them in a package.

yea. i havent bought any reg tickets for more than 5 years. this is actually my first time having to order online since avatar is ridiculously full.

i just love the 10% off food and i can redeem 1000 points for popcorn and drink.

i can never remember to give them my scene card at the box office though. i think i have scanned less than 50% of my movie purchases for the past couple of years.

What skyxx said. Unlike some other rewards cards like BestBuy etc The scene one is actually really good. Me and my gf always do 2 transactions thus making us only needing to watch 5 movies to get 1 free ticket which is pretty damn good imo. In addition I think you get 10% off concession.

I believe the answer is NO
why don't you just buy it online

if you watch movies alot, you should also apply for a scene visa card. your points will stack up fast.

Because I have a bunch of those movie coupons already so I just need to add some cash for IMAX as opposed to $19 straight up per ticket.

jerche 05-16-2013 10:33 PM

it;s per purchase???? i thought it was 100 per ticket this whole time =S
time to ask for separate transactions!

SoNaRWaVe 05-16-2013 11:18 PM

also with the online purchase, i think you can add a secondary scene member to also get points as well? i'm not sure if the secondary member also gets 100 pts.

I got a question.

Is it possible to buy tickets ahead of time at the theater with Admit One Tickets? I want to get reserved AVX tickets for sunday and I want to get them a little earlier.

Correct, you can actually add 1 card per ticket I believe. I bought 4 tickets the other day and was able to add 3 cards and we all got 100 points each. Would of added a 4th but didn't have another card.

Jerche - Yes it's per transaction so buying tickets for you and your SO for example would be 100 points vs doing 2 seperate transactions would mean 20 points

It's also hella sweet that if you're redeeming 1000 points for a ticket, you don't need to pay extra if that ticket happens to be Imax.

Also, you can show them your card on your cellphone with the cineplex app.

When my gf and I go to movies, we buy 2 tickets, i show them my card, and she shows them her phone (with the same card), and we get 200 points that way.

You can but YMMV. They are technically not supposed to allow that but lots of people don't care.

I usually ask for 1 ticket hand them my card/phone and then ask for another one repeat.
Split the transactions get both 100 pts onto my card. Never had a problem with this and iv been doing it for a long time.
What can they say anyways? Sorry sir you cant split the transactions... Id give them the wtf look and talk to a manager (if that ever happened, which i doubt will)
