where you get that for 55? you mean just the normal replacement air filter? what is the difference with other brand, say Fram?

Lordco.

Replacement yes, but not quite normal since K&N panel filter is oiled compared to OEM.

For more information check out http://www.knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm to learn more about K&N filters.

55 is a good deal for a reuseable filter. clean and oil it once in a while. it pays for itself.

Fram filters when compared to other brands, such as mann filter for example, the quality is actually proven to be a bit cheaper. if you cut open both the mann filter and fram oil filter and lay the filter element out, the filter element of the fram filter is actually shorter than the mann filter. Hence, fram filters do not last as long as some of the other brand filters. Moreover, some filters made by mann and beckarnley are actually comparable to the oem specs. If you look at certain bmw or mercedes oem air filters, it is actually manufactured by mann. Similarly, beckarnley most of the time just rebrands the oem filters or mann filters as their own. I find it funny sometimes when you buy a beckarnley air filters from lordco, inside the filter box is another filter box with mann brand on it with a mann filter inside.
