Help! having display issues heres the parts i have gigabyte p55-ud3p motherboard intel i5 750 xfx radeon hd 5670 Im running windows 7 and i am having issues when i install the ati display driver for the video and get these sort of wonky displays. i also had to use my phone to take a picture of it because when i try to do a screen cap, it doesnt show problem. so far, i have used driver sweeper to get rid of all the display drivers and reinstalled the ati driver but still no luck. http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d1...y/IMG_0007.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d1...y/IMG_0005.jpg http://i32.photobucket.com/albums/d1...y/IMG_0004.jpg edit: heres a video i took while looking at the 3d preview in the ati catalyst control center. Notice the sharp triangular shapes that appear. once in a while i would get that when im switching between windows. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fZ7pd86hBpA |
i dunno i think i'm having trouble with my ATI drivers myself on windows 7.. i use pplive to stream stuff.. but it never works.. i tried reinstalling the drivers it works again.. then it stops working again.. i have no problem on my nvidia computer.. so i just think ATI driver sux in general for windows 7.. and that problem you had with ur computer.. i had it a long time ago with i was still using RC.. after upgrading it stopped occuring so i have no clue what's going on lol.. |
i have a x1950pro and the x64 drivers from ATi doesn't like win7 very much....artifacts on desktop and i cant run my games properly. i spent hours trying to get it working, it just wont fucking do it. It might just be my card dying though (it's 3 years old now) I'm back on xp for now...still some artifact but not as bad as win7 |
are those triangular shapes called artifacts? |
