Any good Security system for 2010?
 

Hey all, since it's 2010 I would like to know some good security system for this year. I'm kinda out of date on this stuff, any brands you people recommend? Let's share guys!

I was down at CES (Consumer Electronics Show for you non-geeks) in Vegas a couple of weeks ago and saw lots of really cool new stuff for this year. Touch screen paging remotes were all the new thing and looked pretty cool....

....BUT, the companies that had all this cool 'new technology' are pretty low quality. Ever heard of 'Cheng Zen'? How about 'Protectron'? Didn't think so. Lots of glam and hype but nothing of real quality or value when it comes to alarm systems. Ist not about the look and feel, its about security - bottom line.

That said, go with what works. We have been installing compustar for many years now and I have been selling it for close to 10 years. When you have the reliability of Compustar its kind of hard to go with anything else.

Yeah I 2nd that.

Compustar and Autopage have been good for me. Compustar warranty is better and quicker though.

Now you Cheer on Compustar eh?:D
