What is this siren from the North Shore?
 

Its 12:22am and I am curious about this unusual siren coming from the North Shore in East Vancouver, most likely from the Burrard Inlet, it sounds like a sort of emergency siren and it makes me wonder if a vessel in the sea is being attacked or the world is coming to an end lol.

it's an air raid siren, used to indicate emergencies or approaching danger

usually to warn of tornadoes, tsunamis, and military attacks sometimes
most likely just a test for the olympics

huh. i live downtown (coal harbour almost) and i didn't hear a thing. then again, i was watching a movie...

lol..i just live beside Lonsdale Quay ( North Shore Waterfront)..i didn't hear a thing..:S
