| What size amp wiring kit????
i have a ford exporer xlt, the suv it self is 16 feet long. how long shoud my amp wiring kit be 17 feet 20 feet 25 feet. please help me out

I believe most amp kits come with a 17' rca and at least a 20' power cable. It most certainly be enough.

depends where you're mounting your amplifier. if it's at the end of the trunk, get a 20 ft one just to be sure as the 17ft shortens depending on where you route the wire.

1. Get a long string.
2. Run the string tie a knot at the start point, then run the string as if you would a wire.
3. Measure the wire
4. Then get the length appropriate wire kit?

when estimating power cable length in a traditional front battery car I just measure the length of the car from bumper to bumper and thats how long a power cable I use. it's never failed me.
